Pilot Plant

A pilot plant is a production system before the commercial stage of a unit that uses a new technology for production or produces a small volume of products based on the new technology. The purpose of using Pilot Plant systems is to learn and solve process problems before industrial scale operation. Pilot plants can provide you with extensive information. Basically, a pilot plant is a small unit of a small scale of a production line or a petrochemical.

In the pilot plants, the economic efficiency of the process, environmental issues, economic efficiency, the amount of production and its time, etc. are checked and evaluated.
